Saadi Halil, Acrylic on canvas 2015
The Soma (South of Market st.) panel focuses on 3 very San Francisco things: Oracle Park (the baseball stadium for The San Francisco Giants), The F Line, and World Series pennants.

Oracle Park is one of the most beautiful baseball parks in the country. It sits right at the edge of The San Francisco Bay, where many a home run splash into the water of McCovey Cove and awaiting kayakers paddle over to pick up the lucky baseball.

The F Line: What started out as a temporary moving exhibit for a historic trolley festival, became a beloved and iconic, fully functional line of the Muni public transit service. It stretches between Castro and Fisherman's Wharf and runs along the Embarcadero, utilizing vintage streetcars from around the world.

World Series Pennants: the 2010s were a great time for The San Francisco Giants. They gained dynasty status after winning The World Series in 2010, 2012 and 2014. Saadi left a few blank pennants for future wins to be added.
