In the Heart of the Inner Sunset

We are located at the center of the commercial corridor of the Inner Sunset at 9th Avenue and Irving st. At the gateway to Golden Gate Park, San Francisco's Hometown Creamery is the perfect stopping point for locals and tourists to grab a scoop and enjoy the boutique shops of the neighborhood and or the various nearby attractions, such as: The SF Botanical gardens, The Academy of Sciences, The De Young Museum, The Conservatory of Flowers, The Japanese Tea Garden and Stowe Lake, just minutes away on foot.

Occupying the space of a former Japanese noodle house, the interior is warm and cozy with wood paneling and 10 murals of different San Francisco districts, painted by Chef Saadi. With a glass window into the dairy plant, one can see where all the ice cream is made from scratch on the very premises. A world map in the shop denotes the international appeal of both the product and the neighborhood.
