Inner Sunset
     1290 9th Avenue

Located in the heart of the Inner Sunset commercial corridor, on the corner of 9th Avenue at Irving St,  you will find the flagship for San Francisco's Hometown Creamery. It is where the dream was founded and where all of the ice cream is made from scratch in the dairy plant on site.

Inside a former Japanese noodle house, the Inner Sunset creamery is warm, cozy and laden with wood surfaces. The smell of cinnamon waffle cones waft down the street to the entrance of Golden Gate Park, where the De Young Museum, Academy of Sciences, Conservatory of Flowers, Botanical Garden, Stowe Lake and much more are mere minutes away on foot.

This is the home of the ice cream flight, and houses the 10 murals of various San Francisco neighborhoods painted by Chef Saadi himself. Surrounded by a wonderful variety of restaurants, and situated just a hop, skip and jump away from the world renowned Golden Gate Park, the Inner Sunset location is a perfect stop when in the western part of the city, away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown. The small and charming neighborhood attracts locals and tourists alike.

The creamery is open 7 days a week from noon to 10pm.
